Supporting more than 100,000 users, the client’s inventory management application had become difficult to navigate due to inconsistent design patterns and inefficient user journeys. The lack of a unified design standard increased training time, slowed everyday tasks and made the application difficult to evolve.
Fabric partnered with the client to create a scalable design system grounded in user research, in-store observation and iterative usability testing. Following a comprehensive audit of the existing application, the team developed a reusable design framework, interactive prototypes and optimised mobile user journeys that balanced user needs with technical feasibility.
